Some inns had a self hot spring, but a hot spring association declared a hot spring taking advantage of "Kamogawa Hot Spring"Nagisano-yu"" which did digging jointly till then in 2003. Kamogawa Hot Spring began. In Kamogawa-city, there are many hot springs such as Kominato hot spring, a Soro hot spring besides.

Amatsu Shinmei-goo

Amatsu Shinmei Jinja was founded by Minamoto-no-Yoritomo, the first *Shogun of Kamakura **Bakufu, at 1186, and has its own great History of over 80 decades.
But, according to old-literatures, before Amatsu Shinmei Jinja founded, there used to be a small Jinja(shrine), where Ebisu-Sama was deified.

The Maebara, Kamogawa shore is the shore chosen as 100 selections of Japanese beaches of scenic beauty. In late years a promenade is got ready; of "sea festa" and the July .December of every year June a fireworks display. It does well by sea bathing.
This shore is the Japanese surfing birthplace. Many people come as Field of various Malin sports mainly on surfing now.
